My foot will be broken in 17 hours.

The whole aspect of them having to ~break~ my foot and then reset it is freaking me out a bit. Ack.

When I had my multiple broken ankle, the only thing I care about was that I was in pain and disabled and the surgery was going to fix it. Don't think of it as breaking (I'm sure it will be more precise than that), just re-engineering.

Also on the bright side, we'll be that much closer to being mistaken as twins--both of us having hardware in our feet! Okay, only for people who are looking waaay too closely.

Call me if you want a distraction while you're waiting.

(BTW, I'm all caught up but it's too late to text you.)

good luck Nancy!!!! I hope they knock you out for it, because I wouldn't want to watch my foot being broken- it would freak me out too!

I really hope all goes smooth- & you don't ever need another freaking surgery!!
